About AwardFind

AwardFind is a free website that helps small businesses understand US government contracting. We take public spending data and open bids published by the federal government and turn them into plain-English pages: who wins contracts, what each agency buys, which industries are growing, and which bids are open right now.

Who it is for

Owners and staff of small businesses who are new to government work, or who want a quick way to research agencies, competitors and opportunities without paying for an expensive subscription tool.

Where the data comes from

• Contract spending from USAspending.gov, the public record of federal spending.
• Open bids from SAM.gov Contract Opportunities.

Every data page links to its source and shows when it was last updated. Our methodology explains exactly how figures are calculated and their known limits.

Independent and free

AwardFind is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run by any government agency. The site is free to use and is supported by advertising.

We never sell registration services. Registering your business in SAM.gov is free, and you can do it yourself at sam.gov. Be wary of anyone who charges for it.
